The “Mezzaluna” or “Roncola” (pruning knife) is a typical knife from the Veneto region, it was conceived for harvesting fruit and vegetables directly from plants. The curve of its blade varies according to the farmer’s needs: a tighter curve is suitable for grape harvest and for pruning the vines, while a blade with a gentle curve can be used for the preparation of vegetables and picking small plants and herbs.
M.F. stands for Michele Fraraccio, a cutlery based in Frosolone (IS) that crafts artisanal, high-quality pocket knives, entirely made in Italy.
All knives are made of stainless steel, while the handles are obtained from cow horn.
The “regional series” is a series of knives originally produced in different Italian regions.
The knife is hand-sharpened and provided with a custom engraving FOR FREE.
