    The Miyabi 5000FC-D Gyutoh 20cm is the most versatile knife of the series: it provides a good performance in the preparation of meat, vegetables and in some cases even of fish. It is the Japanese equivalent of the English Chef’s knife.

    The 5000FC-D series is a surprising blend of good crafting skills and refined design. The blade in Damascus steel is made of 49 layers with an approximate hardness of 61HRC.

    The knife has been sharpened with the Honbazuke technique, the same used for sharpening Katanas.

    The core layer of the blade is made of FC61 steel.

    The handle in stabilized Pakka wood goes through artisanal crafting to provide every single knife with a perfect balance

    The knife is hand-sharpened and provided with a custom engraving FOR FREE.
